For Christmas we had Kimber Barlow come over to the house to paint a mural in Melynne's bedroom. We heard she was a pretty talented artist and painter, but we had no idea. By just looking at the following pictures you can see the amazing talent that she truley has.

Here is the fairy tree. If you look close you can see that she painted light coming out from the middle of the tree as if there is a whole new fairy world inside. The amazing part is the 3-D effect that she gave the tree by making the branches real life by dangling from the ceiling. At night the tree branches light up with hundreds of purple twinkling lights.

One of Melynne's favorite part of the room is the little house that is at the base of the tree. This house is where Melynne lives.

In this picture you can see Tinkerbell's home. At night the light directly under Tink lights up and illuminates her. Melynne thinks that this is one of the coolest nightlights she ever had.

In this last picture you can truley see the detail in the mural.

Kimber was very excited to do this for Melynne. She wanted the other kids to be surprised and have a bedroom to enjoy.

Makayla absolutley loves Panda bears! In her bedroom, Kimber painted a very large detailed Panda. The most amazing part of this painting is the realness of the eyes. The panda looks down on Makayla and protects her while she sleeps.

The matching bedspread really adds the final touch!

Andrew is huge New York Yankee fan, thanks to my Dad. Even though the Boston Redsox are the supurb team, Andrew is so excited when the Yankees are on TV. The amazing part about this painting and all the other painting, is that she free handed all of them.

With the quilt on his bed, Andrew feels like the ultimate pro baseball player.

We thank Kimber and all her hard work. She truely made Christmas very special at ou house. You can look at other great murals that Kimber has created by going to her web site at www.blacksheepmurals.blogspot.com.
